Anyone ever finished one of the blanks? I was looking at these and was wondering if anyone has any experience with these.

They're pretty nice bows, I've had a couple of them come and go in the last year. Here's a link to a Hill Apex Predator finished  http://www.howardhillshooters.com/hillblankproject/hillowlblank.html

I'm thinking about trying one of these myself.

I have finished one of these bows (7 Lakes Longbows) for my brother.

A nice smooth drawing bow. Not a lot of work to finish , as most of the "work" is sanding the "blank" to a finished state.

If you don't want to pay for Mike to install the handle overlay, and tip overlays, you do that yourself, too, though Mike supplies the overlays with his blank.
