Two Selfbows and an Armguard
« on: April 07, 2009, 09:35:00 PM »
I bought a Selfbow from Bob Miller (Trad Gang Member) It is a Mark Baker Selfbow 48@28 with Prarie Rattlesnake skins. When I got the bow I was amzed with it. It Shoots great and looks even better! The week after I received a gift from Bob it was an Owl bow, Juniper 51@28 Deer Sinew backed with Cane Break Rattler Skins Wow two great looking bows! The only problem I have with the bows is that I don't know wich one to hunt with first!
The armguard was also a gift. It was handmade by a friend for me and it is awseome. I am amazed at theese two individuals generosity!
I just wanted to say thank you to Mike and Bob.

How you like that Owl bow?  I got mine in a few weeks back.  I've been somewhat limited shooting due to a torn ligament in my thumb, but I've shot enough to know that I really like it.  It's become my favorite.  Mine is a sinew backed white oak, 58" long, 52# @ 28".  Really nice piece of work.  Very smooth and quiet.

Fatman I live just outside of omaha. I love the Owl bow it is a great shooter and puts an arrow down range pretty quick (for a Selfbow).
