Luke, I borrowed one from WildmanSC when he had one for sale. If it had been heavier I would definately have kept it. I've shot Ron's recurves and the royal crown has the same feel, only better in my opinion. One of the top one piece longbows on the market if you like a recurve-type grip.

I just received my Triple Crown a month ago.  I think the bows are very similar except for overall length.  The TC is a very stable and solid bow.  Hand placement is superb, fits your hand like a recurve.  I would recommend either bow.  Don't be afraid to call Ron, he and Debbie are very nice people to deal with.

The RC is definitely a great bow.  I love the grip, accuracy, quietness, smoothness...just about everything...even the looks!  I bet if you shoot one, you will be hooked.

Thanks guys. a new set of limbs are cheaper but you twisted my arm. Time to start looking for a used one until I save up some more.

I'll quote the owner of The Archery Shop where I had my Royal Crown shipped and to which JC made reference above.  Budro said "I can't miss with this bow!"  They are accurate shooting bows.  When Rod starts building a 3-PC Triple Crown, I'll be placing one on order.  I prefer 3-PC T/D bows over one piece bows, even with recurves.
