That IS a beautiful bow.  I kept eyeballing it in the classifieds.  About 5-10 lbs too much for me, so I found a Zebra Shawnee that'll be in my hands in a few days.....Sounds like ya'll made a good deal and everyone is happy.  Gotta like that!

That is one pretty TD recurve. Personally, I love zebrawood, particularly in a TD riser.

Question here, maybe slightly off topic but still close enough, I think...

As that is an ILF riser, can you use any ILF limbs on it?  Curious as I was catalog shopping recently and saw Lancaster Archery & 3R selling multiple ILF risers & limbs.

This might be slighlty sacrilegious, but if a person sunk the cash into a Morrison, it might be prudent to have a fairly inexpensive set of set of Samick ILF limbs on hand for emergency use?...

I knew it, even the one you had shipped here did not stay with you long when you got home. LOL You always find something you want more. Now that I am back consulting, maybe I will be able to buy that special bow I have been wanting. In a few months anyway. Gotta pay bills first.

O.K. Being a natural materials bow kinda guy, I don't usually read these threads. I know this has probably been asked many times, but what is an ILF?

Donald
My additiction for these Morrison's all started with that "checkered grip" 62" 62# TD I got from you a year or so back. I still have it.  However, I did send it back to Bob and have him modify the riser and limb butt's to the "Cheyenne Style" rounded limb butts.  That is the most unique Morrison I have seen and the "Fastest" to boot! ....  :knothead:    :wavey:

Tom, ILF stands for International Limb Fitting.

Beautiful bow by the way.

Yes, this bow will take ILF limbs made by other manufactures. In fact, I recently got a pair of Hoyt G3 limb's as a back-up set.  They fit very nicely and are within 1" in length and virtually the same draw weight. These are great preforming limbs and I may actually use them a lot on my up-coming HOC Black Bear hunt and save those beautiful "Skinned" Morrison limbs from being scratched.
