"IronMaiden" aka my new elk medicine

been meaning to post a review on this one for a while now. This is my 64" 63#@27" 'IronMaiden'. Can hardly wait for elk season to get started. These are ALL-American woods in this one. The riser is ironwood with a cherry stripe and juniper overlays, the limb veneers are juniper. Made by Ken Rohloff in Wisconsin of WhippenStick fame, awesome guy to deal with by the way. Craftsman ship is TOP notch, right up there with the big boys. The grip fits my hand like a glove. Truly a scary quiet bow, its pretty cool to release and arrow and all you hear is a huge thump from the target. Arrows hit where I aim. And yes she is fast, flings a 650 gr. arrow with authority. I could not be more pleased with this bow.

Pretty!
Why don't you send it up the road to Raton so I can admire its beauty in person... for about a week!

That's a pretty bow! I've wondered how Ironwood would look in a bow. As dense a wood as it is, I bet it feels like dymondwood, weight-wise, and no surprise it would be quiet!
