i exp the smoothest drawing bow i've ever shot yesterday.55@28 and 62in takedown model.even when my draw was 4-6 in away from my face it did not start getting heavier till i got to my mouth.question i have is:will the 60in 1 piece be as smooth as this 62 in 3piece i shot.the 62 inch had the diamonwood riser and weighs pretty heavy.i would like to get a new one so how do they compare from all that own one?

I have a 58" and 60" (both are takedowns) and they both draw very smooth. I imagine you'll find the 62" easier on your fingers, especially at heavier weights.
The diamondwood is also considerably heavier than most of the exotic woods.

I got the 62 inch take down, I don't know why you want to go shorter if it was the smoothest drawing bow you have shot. Two inches isn't that much of a difference in length.

they only make the 1 piece in 58&60 in lengths.i was wanting to know is there a lot of weight difference in the takedown models and the 1 piece and were they still shooting about the same.my draw is 28 and the 62 in i shot was so smooth i couldn't hardly get over it.

The one piece is waaay lighter in weight. I had a 62" recurve and spent some time with the 64" 1 piece longbow. They are both equally smooth.

My brother has the 60 incher and if you want a lighter mass wieght bow I would recommend it.I shot it and was impressed with the smooth draw.I have shot the 60 inch 3 piece and noticed no difference.I have not shot them side by side though in the same weight
you might ask the bowyer specific questions and get his opinion.
I liked the one piece more personally. It had a diamondwood riser so it still had some nice heft to it but felt good to handle and shoot and carry.Nice looking bow to as well.

I have a one piece 60"52#@28" and love it, I draw 28" and the bow is smooth as silk. I think at your draw length a 60" would be fine, besides Dave and Beth are great to deal with. Can't go wrong with a tip!

I have a 58" 3 piece T.D. smoothest bow i've ever drawn. It's not the lenght it's just a Silvertip. They are all very smooth.
