I'm startig to make my own arrows. I'm using 23/64" shafts. Do I need to get 23/64 nocks for these? I was looking on 3rivers and they dont have any. Are they hard to come by? Do I use the same glue as my points, for my nocks?

11/32 nocks will work on 23/64 shafts, but a little of your nock taper will show. 23/64 nocks are still widely available as far as I know. Generally, you use a hot melt glue to fasten field points and broadheads to wood shafts, and a glue like Bohning fletch tite or Duco cement to attach plastic nocks to wood shafts.

I havent made arrows yet. I'm starting soon though after I find all the info I need. One of the things I needed to know about is what you stated. I have read something about the grain going the right way, but am still in the dark about it. I'll check that book out. Thanks. Justin
