New backquiver
« on: April 17, 2009, 10:30:00 AM »
A member here asked for a quiver that was different enough to catch my interest  :)

The same 6oz elk I've been using, but lined with a 2-3oz veggie tanned goat.  Flannel lined mouth and strap, fleece lined bottom (heavily reinforced) and antler accents all around.  Sized for 12+ arrows.  No break-in period for this one; it's flexible enough to conform to just about any back.

Can't forget the quiver's companion ... his knife, my sheath  ;)

The amount of shop time (for knives and such) I've been getting is embarrassingly small, but I can get some leatherwork done nights while I'm on baby duty.

Very nice! I hear you about baby duty...it is a blast though, isnt it?

Just got some leather, so I might steal an idea or two from ya...lol.

I am bringing this one back up top to do a little bit of bragging.  I just recently received this quiver from Jeremy.  He added some feathers to it for me.  All I can say is that picture does not do the real product any justice at all.  It is an absolute work of art, I am almost scared to touch it.  Jeremy is a great guy to deal with, and is a compliment to the traditional community that we have here.  I always wanted a good back quiver, and I was truly blessed when this arrived at my door.
Jeremy thank you so much,
