Another TradGanger, Kip, and myself are looking for a hunt in western Nebraska or S Dakota for this fall.  Would like to chase mulies and pronghorns in late September.  We are not looking for a fully guided hunt, but would need some direction.  Any leads??

Mel, There is a place in North Dakota that I could highly recommend.  It is called Elkhorn Ranch Outfitters, and is run by Randy and Sue Moser.  I hunted there a couple of times quite awhile ago, and it had very good hunting for mule deer, whitetails, and some antelope.  Bowhunting only, and it is a self guided type hunt on private land, they have a decent set up for accomodations, and were very reasonable on price.

The only problem is that I can't seem to find contact info for them.  They used to advertise in our Wisconsin Bowhunters publication, but not anymore.  I'm pretty sure they are still running hunts though.  Maybe someone else here will know how to find them.  They are about as nice of folks as you could ever hope to meet.

Speaking of that, you've found yourself a great hunting partner!  Kip is as good as they come.  You two will have a great time wherever you end up!

I'm pretty sure they are still around
