I wear a leafy bug suit and have taken deer as close as 8 feet.

Leafy, I have a grey one and a green one. They weigh hardly anything, and add no insulation factor, so you can stay cool, or wear it over your normal gear, and stay warm. I picked up a real 'leafed out' head cover that really breaks up your outline. They work great for duck hunting too.

How the bear got into my dark green shirt and carhart pants, I'll never know.

I'm wearing a leafy suit in my avatar but that night I was also nailed by a doe and a turkey. I wore a ghillie all last season and had several close encounters that just didn't work out and I was never picked off.

So what's the best source for a Ghillie? And are there different models/styles?

I plan on going with wool and cotton clothing more in the medieval style, greens grays, and browns.
Until next time
