Repair 70's Kodiak Magnum
« on: March 21, 2007, 01:48:00 PM »
I have a Bear Kodiak Magnum that my brother traded for from a local gun shop back in the 70's. It was never used much but now the riser lamination on the back is beginning to lift and where the stabilizer insert is - it's cracked completely across.

I've been thinking about trying to force some super glue or epoxy where the riser is lifting and clamping the heck out of it. I'm not sure about how to fix the crack near the stabilizer insert.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. I don't plan on shooting it a lot. I'd just like to be able to once in awhile for sentimental reasons. Boy! did I and my little brother have a ton of  fun messing around with this bow.

Thanks to All
