I am looking for the best way to glue on my broadheads. I bought Stos and got the Kustom Kings steel adapters and want to get them on good. I have the browm ferrel tite hot melt glue and am ready any suggestions. Thanx Guys. Travis

the hot melt will work just fine, or you could even use two ton epoxy.

Be sure to scrub both the inside of the heads and the adapters with Iso alcohol or acetone, and you're good to go with your Ferr-L-Tite.  Get everything hot for a good bond.

for inserts and adapters i ONLY use slow set epoxy.  as tim sez above, clean all the metal bond areas well.  you can still remove heads from adapters using a flame, and ya won't screw up broad head temper.

However you do it, epoxy or hot melt, make sure you get the adapter and point aligned; they won't automatically do it.  I wouldn't think epoxy would be at all forgiving in this.  Rob, can you maybe elaborate on this?
Good judgement comes from experience.  Experience comes from bad judgement.

You have to spin the arrow and BH when completed.  If you don't know what I'm talking about PM me and I'll tell you how to build a no cost spinner.

I feel epoxy alows me to align things easier than hot melt does.
With hot melt, if the head is off, I have to heat it up to soften the glue, move the head, cool the glue, and check alignment again. Repeat as necessary.
With epoxy I can glue the head, check alignment, tweak as necessary, check alignment, and repeat as necessary. I don't have to worry about reheating the glue. When all is aligned, set it aside to cure. As a plus, I don't have to worry about touching a hot arrowhead.
