At my age you don't look forward to birthdays but all of you have made this one very special.
Thank you.

Ron:
Happy birthday to you, sir. For what it's worth, along with the likes of Fred Bear, G. Fred, The Wensel Brother, Roger Rothaar, etc., you were one of a handful of traditionalists who sparked my interest in traditional bows and hunting. A number of years ago, I had the opportunity to visit your shop and your beagle wowed us with her ability to locate treats that you would hide throughout the shop.
Here's wishing you health and happiness...

Huckleberry, That was Maggie who I use to say was the worlds smartest beagle. She always entertained people that came in the shop. The kids especially liked to see her tricks, rolling over, playing dead and she could open and close doors.
Maggie went to Dog Heaven a few years ago and we have a new beagle named Dolly. Dolly doesn't do all the tricks that Maggie use to do but she's a great dog and loves to chase bunnies. I took Dolly to deer camp last fall and she chased off a bear that had been coming into camp every night. Her bark must have really scared that bear because he never came back. :D

'Had a good yack with Ron today. He is truly humbled by the outpouring of good will for his birthday. It's good to know there are still places in America and cyberspace where people respect the traditional values that Ron has espoused his whole life.
Happy birthday ol'coon; see you on the next full moon.
