Felt very good to get out.
« on: March 21, 2007, 11:17:00 PM »
We have been blessed with warm weather (may change my tune come August)---and finally kicked off the traces and headed up.  Stopped about 4000 ft  elevation---just patches of remnant snow---went looking for fresh Merriam sign----found only old stuff----but man, it was great.  Crossed a couple of canyons--looked at a creek that should be good the last Sat. of April.   The arrows were flying where I looked---stumps and pinecones were in grave danger.  Made it down in time (well, just a little late   :o )  to pick up my nephew and neice from school. Now I gotta get those big wide Snuffers glued and spin-tested.

Congrats on the good weather, it's freezing rain right now. Alan
