So they would fit any XX75's, including the Legacy models?      Thanks for the info.

Mmmmmmm... Very Interesting. Good way to bump up my 2016's for hunting. Or even 2018's that are now "too stiff"... More stuff to play with. Gotta love it.

Dave,

Are you using AD Trads at all??  If so, the 2413 shaft fits perfectly over the AD Trad regulars. Use the AD Trad regular with the 100grain brass insert installed with the AD shaft cut directly behind the insert. This will butt flush against the cedar shaft with the 2413 aluminum sleeve acting as a coupling over both the AD and the cedar shaft. You will have the same joint you are asking for with the only difference being the collar of carbon shafting that fills the space between the brass insert and the 2413 sleeve. You could probably get several insert length cuts out of the front end of each AD Trad before you get into the taper. If you take these from broken shafts, you'll save money.

Best,
DB

I forgot to add; Not sure the spine shafts you're using, but I have trouble finding 11/32 POC stiff enough for the added front end weight. But, finding the heavier spines in 11/32 when using DF is easier. If you do not need the screw in joint, have a machinist center drill the front end of the shaft to fit a length of either brass or tungsten drill rod prior to adding the taper. This is what I'm doing, but again with DF and not POC. This not only adds the weight, but it acts as an internal footing while keeping the outer diameter small.

Best,
DB
