I just gave a bow to a buddy and he's having some problems with arrow flight. I keep telling him his aluminum arrows are way over-spined, but I really don't know squat about any kind of arrow material other than wood. Kelly Peterson used to have an on-line chart that gave spines for aluminum arrows I think. anyone know where to find that or something similar now? My buddy went off the Easton chart for his arrows and I just spined one out for him and it's way too heavy.
If no chart, how about advice on which aluminum arrow to use for a 29 inch back of point, 125 grain tip, 43 pound longbow cut to 1/8" before center with a dacron string?
Thanks!
