Natures bounty

Went out for walkabout on our place this afternoon and found these morels and the shed !! Ain't spring time great! Found the mushrooms all under old wild apple trees.

PaleFace - I went easy on you by only showing one bucket of morels! Ha! The combination of wet and cool brought out the best in the mushrooms this year. They are a good way to say thank-you to the land owners for letting us hunt. I slice in half, clean with cool water, dip in whipped eggs, roll in crums from crushed town house crackers, and fry in butter. They go very well with fresh fish... but that's another of "nature's bounty!"

Mike,that's a mess of shrooms!! and sheds! I used to love morels until acouple of years ago I came up allergic to them. Now I just get em for my wife.

There has been some reports of these mushrooms going to $80/lb here in Michigan!!!

A person could make some money if they had some time to look.
