Great Plains "Long Curve" bow...

Has anyone shot one of these....suppose to be the best of both worlds.....interested to hear how they shoot and if they are really a good bow....

I can't believe that nobody has responded to this yet!   I just shot a friend's long curve today and can tell you it is an awesome bow!   Matter of fact, I think I will put an order in for one when I find the funds for it.  Great shooting bow!!!

Yes, I had the three piece take down when they first came out.  I really liked it and wish I had kept it.  They shoot real well and I really like the slim lines.  The micarta in the riser gives some weight which adds stability.  No hand shock that I could tell, quiet as well.  Mine had tulip wood veneers and a cocobolo riser and if you've seen it I'd like it back.

Bill Foreman makes great bows.  Call or e-mail for the new catalog.  It's one of the best I've seen and if it can't get you excited I don't know what will.

I have a 3pc long bow that I am considering getting the long curve limbs for. I just havn't been able to stop shooting long enough  to send it to Bill for a fit.
