fist one??

I just got my first flemish string, and was wondering why there is no serving under the loops on the ends? Is that how its supposed to be , do I just put it on and go for it?? I am kinda confused, or is there a special way to use it. please help me Thank you!

No serving on the loops is correct.  Put the bigger loop on the top end, slide it down to give you some slack and put the small loop on the bottom. String bow with stringer.

No seving needed. One loop should be larger than the other, large loop on the upper limb, small on on the lower. String 'er up, check the brace height, twist it up until it's where you need it and your good to go. It will most likely stretch a bit, but just keep track of it and it will settle in. Just make sure you keep some of the twist in it.  The twist is what holds a flemish splice together.

Actually , It seems to be to short for my bow. My old regular d loop string was amo 60 . also is the flwmish one, but we can't get it over the limb notch, because its so short we are afraid of damaging the bow? So I might need to sell it and order a d-loop string!!!  :confused:

Are you comparing actual measured length or what is marked?  If it is the same length it should be fine.  As mentioned, a flemish string does need to be twisted to hold together, but maybe it is twisted up too much?  Twisting simply shortens or lengthens the string.  

Make sure you are using a stringer, but it won't damage the bow to string it.  The bow will bend much further when it is drawn.  If it is a little short the brace height would end up too high.

Shoot it a couple dozen times and recheck your fistamele and nock point. Sounds like your good to go.
