Mark, you know where all the good spots in North America are I'd say. Brother the Muzzy's where eating this weekend.

J.D., I'd send you a bag but my wife may disown me. She calls it "Kentucky Grouper".

Doug, I'm afraid to say it's mainly a night time game. What's terrible is a commercial fishermen can catch all he wants I believe and we can only shoot two each per day. We could have sunk the boat with them. If any of you KY biologists are reading this like I said, I've been shooting this same spot for 8 years and they have multiplied each year. If we could take 4 each per day it would fill my freezer faster.

TJ, I thought I'd seen everything...SPOONBILL CATFISH???? Well now I've seen everything. Those are some HOGS! I think even I could hit one of those beasts. They look like the size of a salmon. Spotlighting for fish. Sounds like fun.

Can I suggest you save the skins.  They would make beautiful backings for bows.  I would love to have skins like that in the freezer to adorn my self bows and laminates with.
They resemble blue catfish in their coloration.

Yeah Allen, it is a great time for sure. They are some slimmy buggers though. I scrubbed the boat down the other night for two hours.
