CE Heritage 350's...who shoots them?
« on: June 04, 2009, 04:25:00 PM »
I am trying out some. I usually shoot the 250s at 29.5" with 225-230gr. tips. I just was wondering what others have experienced with these. I shoot a cut to center recurve, 55#@28" and have found I can shoot 95# douglas fir shafts with 160gr tips with great arrow flight. The 350s are equivalent to 98# spine weight. So, I'm thinking the 350s with 250 to 275 grain tips should bareshaft well. What have you found?

I shoot a Dan Quillian Patriot that is cut a little past center and is 56 @ 28 and I draw almost 29. I shoot 350's that are 30 1/2 inches with 250 grains out front and they fly awesome for me. My total weight is about 650 grains and they are almost indestructable.

I shoot 350's from my 67# Ghost, not center cut.  Anywhere from 29"-30 1/2" with weights from 250 gr on up depending on what length the shaft is and what string I'm using. I've pretty much settled on 350 up front at 29 1/2" with a skinny(er) 10 strand Xcel string for the 350's. Those are my heavyweights.

I shoot them cut to 30"; out of my 78# @ 29" BW longbow, they wear 300 grains up-front; out of my 65# @ 28" BW recurve, they wear 225 grains up-front. The difference that shelf makes is amazing.

50#@28" ACS draw to 29" full length Heritage 350 with 100 grain brass insert and 250 grain points, and they are deadly!

53#@28 ACS and I draw right at 29.5".  Heritage 350s cut to 30.5, 50 brass insert, 250 up front and flight is great.
