Bear razorheads, for me the carbon steel ones, will always be tough to beat. Maybe some look better, are bigger, are newer......but Ol' Fred took HOW MANY different varmints with them?
Including things I'LL never hunt....lol.
The carbon steel ones sharpen very easy for me and have yet to fail me when I used them.
They are around, more than most realize.
Once I get them here, I'll post some photos of some I just picked up on a dozen arrows that I never knew existed......or even made from Bear Archery.
The fact that 8 of them were the 1960 heads....made it a plus.
Check fleabay, usually lots of old arrows with usable heads. Might even be able to use the arrows for your children's stump shooting if you rework em a bit.
At least on critter will have one flung at em this fall along with some stone heads.
