Broadhead/Arrow Weight Question

Hey guys,
All I've ever shot is 125 gr. heads off my wooden arrows. They're spined 55/60 POC for my 50# recurve. They work great and are good and accurate.

If I wanted to go to a heavier head for some bigger game, say a 200 gr. head, would I just have to lengthen or shorten up my arrows or am I lookin at another spine category?

Unless your arrows are really long now you will have to go up in spine

right now they are cut 28.5 as my draw is 27. At full length I think they are somewhere around 30 - 32"

CO Redneck, Im no expert but if you want to go up in bh weight and use the same arrows you will probably have to cut your  arrows down a little to stiffin the spine. How do they fly with the heavier bh, as is. Maybe you don't have to do anything. Usually a heavier point will weaken the spine. m2c. good luck

Since you can't really cut your arrows any shorter, you would need to build out your strike plate a tiny bit to use the 200gr bh
