My wife asked me what I wanted for Father’s Day, and I stated a 3D armguard with my Navy SCPO insignia and retirement year.   When I talked to Grant Patton (Virginia), he said he could make me an armguard,… “just send him a sketch” of what I wanted.  Well, I did send the sketch and I got these (the SCPO guard and the framed guard) in today’s mail, and…well, I simply gotta show ‘em off!

Grant also made my Deep Sea Diver hunting arm guard, but to me… the Senior Chief logo w/ my retirement year… well, he has just outdone himself.  And yes, the picture frame armguard is going on display in my office… right next to my “archery corner” and the “I love me” military wall.)

NOTE: A friend of mine has an arm guard - also made by Grant - with his Fire Fighter logo on it (a gift from his wife) and that too is simply a work of art.

Now, I may not shoot worth a lick, but there’s no reason ya can’t look good on the 3D course, or in the hunting woods.

Thanks Grant… great job!!!

David

P.S. These photos don’t do his work justice, but they will give you a general idea of the quality.

Great work!
I am afraid to shoot with you now. When you wear them, you'll probably revert to talking like a sailor.

All those "arrrrs" would throw my concentration off to the point where I might actually inflict damage on a target.

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Yup, I like alot.

Killy, you'll know Grant when you see him.  He walks around grunting alot (or at least I think it's grunting....maybe an upset stomach.. I hope), and talking to himself (saying, "Semper Fi", or something like that).

Outstanding! That's Army talk for BZ and/or Marine grunting.
