do the limbs on the hunter model have a semi clear coat over the black or is black the top finish on the limb?

I presume ( have one coming, but it's not yet here) that it is black glass with the normal finish over that.  That keeps cost down a bit since fancy lams and clear glass are not needed for the show effect.  All bows have a coating or finish over the glass.

I had a friend with a brand new Custom Predator that I was shooting with in the rain and when we got back to the clubhouse and he was wiping his bow off and the finish did the same exact thing and came off. The finish looked just like a black spray paint on the belly of his bow and the back has a fancy veneer with clear glass the clear glass side seemed fine. He sent his bow back and they had fixed it for him but I hope they did something different. Predators shoot great but finish is very important to me and I almost won't even buy a bow without Thunderbird on it. I here a lot of bowyers talk about the cost of Thunderbird but I know I'd pay the difference if I was putting the time into making a bow.
