RER New Arrivals In Stock - MORE UPDATES - PICS ADDED!
« on: June 24, 2009, 11:39:00 PM »
I have updated the RER in stock bow listings on the Prairie Traditions website.  There are new arrivals in all models, so now is a great time to take a look.  I will be at the RER shop this weekend and will have some more updates for you next week.

I do have additional pictures of most of the bows listed.  Just let me know if something catches your eye and I will forward them on to you.

Joe,
I have to take a look at the CXR L.  Do you have a pic of the XR5803L?  The XR6209L is another great looking bow. 3 Lefty's in stock,  I'll be giving you a call.

Paul, I have the cool little CXR5602L and XR6209L here at my house right now.  I will be taking them back to Kevin this weekend, so if you would like to give them a try call me right away.  920-397-0959.
XR5803L is at Kevins but I should be able to get some pictures of it this weekend.

Joe,
That XR6209L is stunning! Man I wish I was close by to you. I'd love to give that one a test drive!
I reckon so

There ya' go John!  (I assume you're both lefties?)
I think Paul is stopping over this morning to run a few arrows threw that one - he can give you a first hand report!

Whip, just for us old guys....a little nostalgia or whatever, couldn't you give those bows a real name?  Numbers and letters sound more like a computer program than a beautiful bow.  I'm sure we haven't used up all the good names yet.  George

I'll pass that along George.  Some of the RER's do have cool names, but I'm not sure why Kevin decided to just go with initials on these.  Maybe because they are all based on the same riser and limbs?

The initials actually do have some meaning.  I'm guessing the "X" was the generic name when the design was being developed.  The "R" in an XR is of course recurve, and the "L" in an LX is longbow.  A "C" in front designates it as a compact riser.  All based on the same basic riser and limb design.

Just got back from Whip's, I shot both lefty's.  The XR and CXR, both look and shoot great.  I liked the CXR the best.  I think I found my next bow in the CXR.  If you ever get a chance to shoot these bows, dont' pass it up.

Bill,
I'm gonna take ya up on that! Just say where and when. Maybe we can meet up at Wildwood and shoot their 3D course.

 Paul,
Really? you liked the CXR better than the XR? What did you find different between the two and why?

Joe, Bill brings up a good question. Are ya gonna bring any with you to Denton this year?
I reckon so

John, I liked the CXR because of it's size.  Nice and compact, will be great for hunting in brushy areas or from a ground blind.

I just bought a RER takedown at Comptons, and let me tell you guys, they are everything they say they are and more!!! Smooth, fast and very forgiving. I'm getting ready to do some trading with a fellow Tradganger for a one piece RER. Can't wait to try it out. Just want to add that Whip was one of the nicest fellows I've ever dealt with when I bought my bow. Bought a fine lookin hat from him too !!
                          Thanks,
                                 James

I spent the weekend at TerMaat's and was able to get updated pictures of most of the in stock inventory.  I have added them to the RER In Stock bow listing on Prairie Traditions website (see link below)

Here are a few previews of what you'll find there.  There is a very good selection yet of bows ready for immediate delivery, but that is changing almost daily, so if you have any questions please call!
