Combing old with new...

ok, so, being a complete traditional newbie, who still combines old and new tech stuff with their long/recurve bows??  

carbon arrows, releases, etc...  just curious...

I'd imagine the purists would never do so, but where is the line drawn before it is no longer traditional archery??

The majority of trad guys now shoot carbons, very few use release aids or sights.
There is no line, most guys just want to keep it as simple as possible, no aids.
