Definately have to include the Kaibab and Aberts from each side of the Grand Canyon. Both are open during our archery deer seasons.

I have a choclate phase fox squirrel in my yard that has the fox brown tail but choclate brown body. Guess he would go in the non-typical category!

A brief reminder:  Some of the smaller ones are also protected.  Here in AZ read the Mount Graham red squirrel.  They only have 250 pairs or so left.
