i save up and try at least one good trip every year, this year its off to Australia again. hopefully back to South Africa in 2011 not sure what happening 2010 might try kill me a big elk here in colorado

i get in 60 to 65 for deer and 20 to 25 turkey days in.i to in alabama but i only allowed 3 bucks a year  :(

I generally get in 80 to 100 bowhunts for whitetails each fall.  This past year about 10 for turkey (I'd rather look for antlers), and six days in black bear camp.  Also hoping to get in some antelope hunting this fall.

One of the reasons I went into education years ago was knowing that if I didn't coach in the fall, I would have time after school to hunt.  It has proven so...

Frassetor   hunt in the CWD zone and you can shoot as many as you want to.  I don't believe there is a limit.

I've never kept track of it on an annual basis. I do know for the last several years I've logged an average of over 300 hours in a treestand in just the two months of October and November. That only averages about five hours a day. But you have to realize if you don't hunt one day you need to hunt ten hours the next day just to keep your average up. :^) bw

In terms of actual hunting with intent to kill, 25 days for elk, another 12-15 for Blacktails, and 12-15 for turkeys in the spring.

Now if you take in all the trailcamming, shed hunting, wildlife photography, etc. Then it would be in excess of 250 days afield I suspect.

My hunts are a lot of morning or evening I have a friend who puts it well "I have to earn hunting miles around the house before I can go" so it really depends how many days I get chores done first    ;)

The way my days off fall and the way I can take my vacation time I get to hunt a lot. From March 29 to May 2 I only had to work 3 days and turkey hunted most of the rest except for a few driving days. This fall from Sept.19 till Nov.20 I only have to work 3 days then I get 14 days off in Dec. and 14 days off in Jan. so I am ready to get after it. I work lots of hours during the summer so i will have the funds to travel and hunt in other states and I also have the most wonderful wife in the world who lets me go and hunt for weeks at a time as long as I call and check in from time to time.

I try to at least spend 30 days a year hunting.  I usually go back home and hunt squirrels with my Dad 5 times.  The rest of the time is spent chasing deer and turkeys.  I work weekends only, so I have a good bit of time to hunt.
I would like to do it more. However; I feel guilty because I'm taking time away from my wife.
