Aluminum footing for an Easton ST Epic 600?
«

Anyone know what size aluminum arrow will slide tightly over an Easton ST Epic 600 shaft? I'm wanting to foot some and I'm thinking a 1916. I have some 1816s that won't quite fit. Thanks!

Well, I just found out my local "Pro Shop" doesn't carry aluminum arrows any more. Walmart won't get thier archery shipment in for another few weeks. I need a couple of 2016s, so I posted a new add in the classifieds.

Yep I'm going to try some myself just in case of a bad shot on a big boar. I'm guessing about three inches will do. That will add 36 grains for me using a 2216 or 2117. Let me know how it works out for you.

I wonder how loose those shafts fit. I just footed some GT 5575s traditional with some 2219s and they fit perfect. May have just been a typo?

There is only three thousanths difference in the wall thickness of 2216 verses 2219. How much would it change the inside diameter? Not much.
