Anyone in the New York area going to Colorodo for a DIY elk hunt?

I know this is a late notice but I am looking to go back to Colorodo this year on a DIY hunt. I'm willing to use my suburban for the drive or jump in with someone else. Split the cost, would like to go back to the San Juans near Durango but any area would be fine. I just need to get back into the high country!

My 2 hunting buddies are heading out to NW Colorado on a DYI. I had to pass up the hunt because I thought I'd would draw a Canadian Moose tag and our bear hunt fell through. Would love to go with you but I'm committed to bowhunting whitetails in CT and Jersey in Sept. Good luck on the hunt...
