How much are you going to charge for the standard blanks? I looked at the website, but still did not see them.

Thanks,
Chester

Hi Chester, The standard blank will have an actionwood/dymondwood/semi-fancy hardwood riser and black or brown glass, Boo cores. the cost or a standard blank will be $225.00 shipped(lower48) I have some black and brown blanks in stock now and can have one tuned up for shipping in a jiffy. They will be in the 50# range.
The web site.I am exercising patience with the website,I can only say that things never go as we would like and this is the case now with the site. All I can say is please"exercise patience" with me and PM,email or call with a request. I check my email about every 2-3hrs. and will reply ASAP.Thanks.

Looking good. Would you say it makes a stronger, stiffer handle to glue it up in an I-Beam configuration. Thank you.  Bue--.

I think that an I beam riser adds alot to the bow and the stiff handle section is one of the best attributes. Cosmetics are another. I have found that the way I layout my handle section is key to the way the LONGWALKER shoots. Heavy or lite, split or 3 under long draw or short, The Bow seems to like it all. It throws all kinds of arrows HARD, fast and quiet. Thanks for asking.

Looks like a nice configuration Chuck.  A guy could have a really nice bow starting with a blank like that.

What is left to be done with these? What is the hardest thing to finish for somebody that has not done this before? Is it possible for me without to much work to turn this in a piece of firewood?

No Chester, This is a pretty good way to get yourself a good bow for a discounted price.
MY blanks will come with the limbs profiled and string nocks cut in. sight window cut out and overlays put on. You will need to round and radius the sight window and shelf area and shape the tips and handle to suit you. Then it is a matter of making the bow smooth and putting a sealer on it.
You really can't go wrong unless you get crazy sanding on the limbs. Tiller and alingnment is done so you only need to remove the tool marks and such with some sandpaper. Any onther questions please ask(anyone).
