I just bought an old Shakespeare
recurve, The Mancos 45#@ 28"(X-40). The string it came with was horrendous and about 2" too short,though.
Looking forward to shooting it.

Nope, it was a Gamegetter with the new black finish. I have a dozen of them made with white feathers.
