All I said was,"Mine'er good"    :D

Better yet,a full week before season opened last year,I went to the local shop for something.I says to the guy,"How's it going today Mart?"He shoots back with,"I seen it ALL this week....ALL.Guys wanting new strings on 15 year old bows full of dust and everything in between."

My reply-

"I'm good"    :biglaugh:

Ah yes... poor planning on your part does not constitute emerency on mine.    ;)

ALL my "stuff" has been out and gone through back in May.. Yeah, I start early...

I went back to broadheads ONLY shooting the first week of July.

This is why I downsized my shop selling off all accessories. I was always here for those "last minute" orders to fill and this is when hunting season was upon us.

Now....I'm hunting almost every day and run the shop by Apptment only. The only sales I get once hunting season starts is for scent/lure/masking scents. I'm here when the customer arrives to pick up his stuff....AFTER THE HUNT.

Any hunter should have his gear well tuned, clothing treated, backpacks readied...a good month before the season. I always recommended the customers start their hunting lists in August so when October runs around, everything they need should be in their packs, ready for use.

I hunt nearly year round; and only own hunting boots. I thought I was all ready; then saw the Easton brothers with a new call; a 'baby hoochie'... so now I am waiting for that. Otherwise I am ready and willing. I am practicing for hours everyday.

At 58 my knees are holding me back... but not stopping me..   :archer:

I just need some broadhead adapters, and fur tracers for behind my fletching.

I know way too many, who will not even touch their equipment until the last minute. This actually translates into "too late".
