Bitzenburger Fletching Jig Instructions? / Question
« on: July 26, 2009, 07:56:00 PM »
I have several Bitzenburger fletching jigs. They work great but I have a question: I picked them up used and they are set up for 3 fletch but was curious how to change the "setting" to do 4 fletch? Does anyone have instructions that they could email me? If no instructions could you give me the "skinny" on how to do it here? Thanks so much.

On the nock receiver end, you will notice 3 small set screws. Alongside the screws are the degree you can fletch. The top screw is for 3 fletch, the middle and bottom screw are 4 fletch.
Bring the set screw UP for the one your NOT using and screw down the one you want to use. You should notice 2 different degrees you can 4 fletch with.

On my Bitz's The top one is 120 - 3 fletch.  The middle one is 90 - 4 fletch at 90 degrees and the bottom one is 75/105 four fletch.  What Joe Skip explaned is correct.

If it is possible I'd love to receive the manual as well...? I just bought some Bitz jigs and have never used them before.  David
