ilf limb question
« on: August 02, 2009, 05:19:00 PM »
can someone help me with the conversion or calculating of fitting a pair of hoyt limbs to a tradtech riser. i know hoyt limb deflection is made for 23 or 25" risers. and going to a 17" riser will change the poundage. does the length of the limb (short vers. long) have something to do with the outcome of the poundage too. is there a formula for the conversion or a simple rule-of-thumb to follow? thanx ahead for the help. tim.

You generally pick up 7# of draw weight above the 25" riser listing. For example: If you have a pair of limbs that are 38# on a 25" riser, they'll be around 45# on a Titan.
