Made a bow switch and am happy again
« on: August 02, 2009, 05:26:00 PM »
Well after a couple of weeks of driving myself crazy trying to tune in some 65-70 hickory arrows to my 60lb GN fireball I had almost lost my mind. I messed around with tip weights building out the shelf, adjusting brace height and nock height to no avail.  My college kid income prevented me from buying more arrows so I was stuck with what I had.  I switched to my dad's 57 @ 28 Holmes longbow I and wammo I hit the jackpot.  They shoot great, even with 145 snuffers.  Now I just need to talk the old man into parting with it until after bow season.
