Missouri....43 days and a wake up!!!
« on: August 03, 2009, 12:16:00 AM »
Tic-toc, tic-toc......

Gettin' the itch for September 15th and opening day.  How about you all?
Dave

I've come to believe that the keys to shooting well for me are good form, trusting the bow to do all the work, and having the confidence in the bow and myself to remain motionless and relaxed at release until the arrow hits the mark.

Thanks for the reminder, Dave, it totally slipped my mind that it was Sep 15 - this is my first year hunting MO and I'm used to the Oct 1 openers locally.  That puts a different spin on things....I was planning on a mid-Sep long weekend scouting mission to the 600 acres I just gained access to in NE MO, I guess now its a mid-September long weekend hunting trip!

Looking forward to the first week of November in a new place!

Hey Dave, good to hear from you.  Seen Brian lately?

I'm wanting to get up to Platte Falls and do some evening scouting with my daughter.  I like to go on a cooler evening shortly after a shower.  Activity seems higher then.  I tell my kids it's because the rain washes the dust off the salad.

My neck has been swelling for a couple weeks now, and I have that definite urge to go outside, and rub the fuzz off of my head and relieve myself in the dirt somewhere.  :bigsmyl:
