One bullet chucker replaced by a Predator
« on: August 03, 2009, 03:43:00 PM »
After a couple hours of deliberation, I decided to part ways with my Weatherby Mark V (SS w/syn stock) and swapped it for a new Predator Classic.
The rifle had really reached a resting spot in my safe for the last 6 years, only to be brought out to keep clean.  My kids are now with me on opening day, toting the .243 in hopes of an antlered encounter. I don't have any desire to kill something (other than coyotes or birds) with a gun. I've had my eye on the Predator, and really liked the looks of this one.  It has the ladder stripping in it, and will be my weapon of choice.  I'll try to get a couple of pics and post them tonight.  Just wanted to share.

I sold all my guns years ago for bow money. Don't regret it a bit.

Yeah, it was a shooting machine with my reloads...
I've got 2 that won't be leaving my posession- a ruger red label in 20 gauge- w/blued receiver, and my dad's model 94 in win. 32.  The rest can be replaced without much sorrow.....

Migrabill and I did a gun for bows deal earlier this year.  You gotta have both.
