I just started shooting broadheads in preparation for elk season. I managed to shank one, miss the target completely and put an arrow through the steel shed in our backyard. When I opened the door to try to get my arrow out I noticed that things were a bit more complicated than I had originally thought. The unsharpened Grizzly that I was shooting had managed to embed itself in a 1x4 on the other side of the door. With the tip just poking out of the other side of the board and the shaft immobilized by the door it took a good ten minutes to get the arrow back.
Be careful out there!
