New to me Zona Long bow
« on: August 10, 2009, 07:04:00 PM »
Just recieved this today. Zona longbow 64" 45@27" Leopard wood and yellowheart wood riser, bacote and actionboo core limbs. This is a sweet shooter. Quiet and smooth. Built by Bill Griffen.
Here is a pic strung.

Pic unstrung. slight rd design.

Pics of the riser.

Pics of the limbs.

After shooting a few arras through her I decided to try shooting a few through paper. I just made these arrows for a 45@28 Samick Stingray I have. They fly great. Here is a pic of the 1st 4 arrows through paper at 10 yards.

Forgot to rotate. A couple were showing the fletching just a fraction to the right.
Hope you enjoy. Don't hear alot about these bows but they sure do shoot great.
Eric

The strung profile looks just like a Martin Vision when strung
