New to me Griffin Special
« on: August 18, 2009, 11:36:00 PM »
I've had a few different Shrews over the years, but I just made a trade for a Griffin.  This particular one is a Griffin Special, when John was experimenting with more wood in the riser.  Same awesome grip, but unfortunately I don't have any arrows that will shoot correctly out of it right now... they are in the mail as I type.  60", 48# @ 28" so 50# - 51# @ 29".

Thanks all, I actually traded for it for my wife, but unfortunately she can't pull it to anchor even at her 24" draw...

I talked to John earlier this week about my wifes custom Griffin that he is making. He mentioned that he had a few Griffins and a few 59er Recurves that he had remaining from the ETAr shoot in July. If anyone is interested give him a call for the details. He can be reached at 517-626-6365. His Griffins are sweet shooting bows and so is the 59er Recurve that he makes.

I've decided to let this one go also, to light for me... I just don't think I'll use it like it should be used.
