I must say that's not RON holding that nice lookin' bow!!! I have one of Ed's bow that I got at the Compton auction a few years ago..a 66" Hickory and at 42# it will zing a 500+g arrow. He makes a super bow!!!

I talked to Ed today, getting a sinew backed osage owl bow, 50#@30", he says it will be about 60-61" long, can't wait  :)

They are great bows, and real killers as well.  I find them silent and very deadly ... so do the deer.  You are gonna love it!!

Mr. Scott has a site, though he doesn't operate it.  Www.edscott.us  or some such. His work is superb. I have a white oak sinew bow he made for me a few years ago. It really zips and is quiet and pretty, with a fine shelf cut in too. Great bows.

Owl Bows have been on my "to-do" list but I haven't taken the plunge.  Obviously, an endorsement from Mr. Ron just adds to what a lot of folks already know or have suspected  :)  Two great men and gifts to our beloved sport/lifestyle IMO!!
