Cari-Bow Silver Fox
« on: August 27, 2009, 10:08:00 AM »
I'm thinking about purchasing this bow after having tried a friends. Anyone have the carbon/venner option? Is it worth spending the extra money?

Thank you.   :archer:

I have a Cari-bow Wolverine with the carbon and really like it. That being said, I also like the wood options as well. I can't say as far as performance which is better but asthetics would likely be the determining factor. The carbon has no shine which is nice. I know one thing for sure.....you won't regret owning one. I think everyone after trying a Cari-bow would want one.

You will not be dissappointed with any of Abe's bows, all are great shooting and beautiful.

Thanks for the info. I always knew Abe was a craftsman, but wanted one after I tried it.
I hope the carbon is worth the investment?

His standard bows are plenty fast.  Contact T.J. here on Tradgang.  He has one of the most beautiful silver fox takedowns i've ever seen. It is smooth drawing, fast, and quiet. See if he can send you some pics.

not a silver fox, lone wolf...but caribow nonetheless.  I love mine, its treated me very well, and the artistry is incredible.  wood

Here are my 2 Silver Fox's. Both are 62", one is 58# the other 56#. Plenty fast enough without carbon IMO.

Here is my silver Fox. It may not be gorgeous but it's one hell of a shooter!
