New string
«

I installed a new string from Chad at recurves.com. I put it one and untwisted it to get my brace height for a checkmate firebird 56 inch recurve, installed nock, and silencers... the bow seems to shoot well with almost zero noise.
My question is will I have to reset the nock point / brace height, after I have shot a few 100's shots ?
the new string is a dynaflight 97 material, my old string was B50...
my thanks
Bill

I would just check the brace height after some shooting until the string settles in.The nock point should not change by adjusting the brace height up or down alittle.

Probably will Bill. I pre-stretch my strings, and Dynaflight has a lot less stretch/creep, but...they all settle in some. How much depends on the material, strand count, draw weight, temps, etc.
