fullerplast varnish

i have a bow shelf to refinish and the bow was originally finished with fullerplast catylized varnish, which seems to be an excellent finish. but where can i get some?? i contacted the bowyer and he would have happily sent me some but he can't because he can't ship hazardous goods overseas. i'm wondering if anyone could shed light on where i might start looking here in oz. is there a certain industry that uses it that i could follow up on here in oz. i've tried guitar making supplies here but no luck.

I am pretty sure you have to buy it by the gallon.  It's pretty expensive stuff.  Fullerplast use to advertise in TBM at one time.

Careful, they refer to the stuff as "cancer in a can".

If it's just a shelf, I'd try some CA (superglue) rubbed on with your finger.  Some fine steel wood would blend it in pretty well.

Put the finger in a latex glove, or you'll bond to your bow
