Badlands packs are well built and lifetime warranty can't be beat. For whitetails I really like the Superday, and the Diablo is another good one.

It really depends on just exactly you want to carry as far as which one is best for you. I've sold everything from the Ultraday pack to the 2800 for people intending to use them for whitetails.

Eberlestock makes some great packs as well. Check out the X1 for your needs.

For a little less money, and also a great pack, take a look at the Blacks Creek Western pack. We have 25% off on them right now in the Sponsor Classifieds.

We can help you with any of the above brands. Check out the Prairie Traditions website from the link below.  I'm out west at the moment, but have cell service and email now and my wife is home and able to take care of shipping.

I am using the horn hunter sling shot this year. Its a nicely built pack with good organization and your quiver can attach to it.

I know price is a concern but last year I got myself a DAY ONE back pack. It is entirely made of fleece and is extremely quiet. It  has lots of inside and outside pockets and I find it to be perfect for my whitetail and bear  hunts. One advantage it has that I really like is that I can turn it inside out so all the buckles and straps are contained inside and I can wash it along with my other hunting gear.
The best things in life....aren't things!

I also have the Horn Hunter.  Lots of neatly arrainged pockets and has proven to be durable over the last couple of years.  Maybe not quite as nice as the Badlands but I think its fairly close for the price difference.

Grab a cheap pack from the local Army Navy store.  I use a shoulder bag or a camo daypack that I picked up for less that $20 each.

Recently placed an order for a Houndsman haversack from Bisongear; don't have it in hand yet, though.....had pretty much the same needs as yours, and it seemed to fit the bill.

I bought a bison gear lost river, off of the classifieds last year and have been VERY pleased with it. Plus it is versatile enough to use out west if I decide to go.
