Home bow makeover!
« on: September 07, 2009, 11:21:00 AM »
Well, after reading a bazillion different threads/how to's on various websites I finally got up the courage to try to put some skins on my Bob Lee! I hounded Dano a dozen times at Cloverdale this summer to get some of the finer details of doing it myself and man was that ever helpfull! Thanks Dano!

There not lined up quite as straight as I would have liked but I am more than happy with the results for a first time.

Here's the pictures Canbrakes I came accross earlier this spring.

Oh and I made up those makeshift antler limb bolts as well but I still need to polish them up a little bit!

All in all I am loving the way it came out! She definately has some character now!

Hey Adeeden, that looks nice!  I'm skinning my Browning now. Hope it comes out as nice as yours.  Did you put super glue on the skins? I did and the skin looks cloudy.  Your's looks great though!  thanks  <>< del
