Picked up some new camo today.
« on: September 12, 2009, 10:36:00 PM »
Stopped by GoodWill on the way home.  100% wool.
Had to go $3.99 for it but it was worth it.  It's the Crusty Curmudgeon Camo line.  Ummmmmm...toasty warm.    :campfire:

Yeah, George, but it's made in Ireland and you know how some folks cuss anything not made in USA.  It'll work...

Good find George. I've been cruising the thrift stores lately. Found a nice plaid flannel shirt the other day and a wool pull over a few weeks back.
Can't beat the price and you usually don't have to break them in.

George- please cease and desist with letting out the "Goodwill wool endless supply" confidential information.  Some of us are attempting to collect every remaining American made long sleeve Pendleton button ups...

As much as I hate to admit it, George's camo line works just as well as the expensive name brand stuff.  Had a doe walk right under me this weekend with a Goodwill Pendleton top and grey bottoms.

Boy I have a lot of that "other" stuff that may not get used as much now...

Went to a farm in Ireland last year and watched them shearing sheep. They told me it cost more to have someone come in the shear than what they were getting for the wool. Kind of a shame. Woolrich is good stuff
