gobbler is being extremely modest.

In Georgia, where I assume he was hunting, you cannot bait bears, and while there are a good many, it's very steep, difficult terrain, the bears are spread out, and there's a lot of human activity in even the remotest places so these bears are shy to say the least.

Taking a fair chase adult bear in Georgia with trad gear is quite the accomplishment and he should justifiably be very proud.

Good Going G10Ga!
Nice looking bear, Kentucky now has a very limited Bear season in a couple of counties. I would love to get a home state Bear! I'll keep dreaming for now!

Nice bear Major, guess you did find some bear sign after all.  Trying to wait till the end of the month to get up there and go after them, but from what I am hearing and seeing, might need to push that up a little.  Guess you don't need those other arrows I have then?  Mark
